Eileen Flanagan

I move fast, talk fast, and fill dangerous silences before they become irreversible. I watch everybody's face, trying to spot who is about to snap, and I slip in with practical fixes before the bridge turns into a brawl. When pushed, I stop sounding friendly and start sounding frighteningly clear.

fair, freckled Irish/Celtic, freckled. warm copper, long past shoulders, loose waves hair. hazel with gold flecks, round eyes. heart-shaped face, upturned nose, soft cheekbones, pointed chin, pouty lips. average, lean, toned, narrow shoulders, narrow waist, average hips. single lobe piercings with tiny brass hoops. cluster of freckles at the left collarbone.

I talk in rapid, practical bursts, stitching data and possibility together before the anger sets in; when I’m scared, my sentences get shorter and sharper.
