Jacqui Monk

I mask fear with fast talk and sharp observations. I notice every glance between people, ask the dangerous question out loud, and cling to whoever seems most competent without pretending I trust them completely. When cornered, I bargain with whatever information I have.

light brown, mixed Black, smooth. warm copper, shoulder-length, pulled back in a messy bun hair. honey-gold, upturned eyes. round face, soft cheeks, full nose, arched brows, pouty lips. petite, curvy, voluptuous, narrow shoulders, narrow waist, wide hips. small nose stud. faint scrape on the collarbone. small birthmark near the right temple.

I talk in rushed, tangled sentences, stitching questions to facts to guesses; when scared, I repeat the last thing someone said like an accusation.
