Missions: Now There Is Something to Win
September 22, 2026
Until now every story on MindStage was open-ended. You could talk for as long as you liked and nothing was ever settled. Missions change that.
One job
A mission gives you a goal. Get the vault code. Get out of the building. Get her to say yes. The briefing tells you who you are, what you are after, and what would end it. Then the door opens and you are on your own.
Nobody hands you the plan. You pick the approach, you pick the words, and the people in the room respond to exactly that. Charm, threaten, bargain, lie, or tell the truth. The mission does not care how you get there. It cares whether you do.
People in your way
The cast is not there to help. Someone wants what you want, someone is paid to stop you, someone would sell you out for the right price. They remember what you say, they notice when your story changes, and they push back the way real people would.
No clock
There is no timer and nobody counts your turns. Take the long way. Build trust for as long as you need. The story ends when you get what you came for, or when it slips out of reach.
You win, or you lose
When the objective lands, the story tells you. When it falls apart, the story tells you that too. Either way you can start over with a different approach or keep playing to see what happens next.
Objectives are chapters
A mission can be one objective or several. Think of them as chapters. Clear the first one and the next opens, often in a new place with new people, with what you did before still counting. Slip up in chapter two and the whole job is over, but the story is not. You are told exactly where you stand the whole way through.
Where to find it
Missions have their own page at mindstage.ai/missions. In the library, look for the Mission chip on the card, or filter to Missions only. The first ones are up now and more are on the way.
